Happy Halloween

I had lotsa good food last week. What's new? I live for food food food! We went to Bakerzin!

Rach, Gena, Gracie, Angie. All my girlfriends that went.

The guys can never take a decent picture! -.-

Not mine but I stole a few sips here and there. Haha.

I wasn't very hungry so I ordered Tapas. They were heavenly. Why? Because I died and went to heaven while savouring the desserts.

Darnass funny. When the waiter set the dessert cups on the table, they were all tilting to one side and I actually picked them up and tried to set them straight. Then the waiter told me that the cups were designed to be this way. Haha. Dumb!

All mine! I loved the strawberry chocolate fondue the most!

Pizza was so tasty I had a mini orgasm while eating it.

Bakerzin... oh Bakerzin. That was my virgin visit to Bakerzin. The food is really fabulous and so are the deserts. Mouth-watering! Arrrrrrr. Mr Lee, can we go Bakerzin this weekend? :D

Yesterday morning, I heard some shrill mewing noises coming from my garden. I went downstairs, out into the garden and found out that my maid had heard the same pitiful shrieks and had pried open the lid of the drain. Inside lay 4 little frightened kittens. My maid took them outta the drain but they were still mewing piteously, crawling on tiles, not looking up. The mama cat was nowhere to be seen.

Poor things :(. I was in a hurry to leave for work so I told my maid to feed them milk (low fat meiji milk. hahaha!) and place them where the mama cat can find them.

Rach is putting on falsies :D

And yea, a very typical day at work. Working days are getting more and more slacky, at least for Rach and I. She's sitting beside me now and that spells trouble? Haha. We've played Bingo, Tic-Tac-Toe, Alphabet games, Strokes game, written short notes to each other even though we're beside each other (lady boss was just standing behind), spraying ourselves with diamond water. ROFL.

Yesterday, we spent the whole day at the office doing: NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. The only thing I did was call the client and amend some figures. That was all I did. The rest of the time was spent gazing into space or falling into short slumbers at my desk. When the bosses were in the vicinity, we pretended to leaf through the working papers so it looked like we were hard at work.

Heading for lunch! I had Fish & Co with BF who was sweet enough to come down to spend time with me :D. Rach was off on a lunch date with her guy friend.

He gave her chocolates. I ate two of them. Err, did I just play gooseberry? Haha.

My uberhumongousgigantuan King Of The Toblerones given to me by Mr Lee. It's from Candy Empire at Vivocity btw. We had a fight over there last weekend and he bought this to appease me.

I am very much appeased, thank you hon :p. I can feast on that for at least a month la.

Oh yes, I saw Jade from ANTM twice in town. She's gorgeous and fuckin tall! I was only up to her shoulders and I was in heels.

The second time I saw her was when I rode in the same elevator as she and another stunning-looking model in my office building. Is she working in Singapore or what?

I wanna go to the chocolate buffet at Fullerton. I've been dreaming about it for weeks. I wanna go!!!!

Hilton Towers

Omg, it's truly gorgeous! The best field audit trip I've been on so far, no doubt. It doesn't look grand from the outside cos the building looks rather dowdy.

However, when I stepped into the apartment, it was just WOAH. It is located on the 14th storey, the top-most level, sorta like a penthouse. No idea if you can actually climb up to the rooftop, though.

The whole place is carpeted, compact and cosy. The accountant goes to work in this apartment everyday. It's like working from home, how cool is that. She looks only in her late twenties but is already earning **** a month with a **** bonus to top it off. It will only get better I foresee!

The big bosses are expatriates so I digress that might be the main reason to why she gets to enjoy such a comfortable working environment and good pay to say the least.

An antique shelf with unopened liquor bottles as ornaments.

We trooped into the kitchen and found 3 refrigerators. A normal fridge with everday necessities, a small fridge used only for beers and wines and a huge fridge (I thought it was a washing machine at first until Cyn lifted up the lid and we realized what it truly was) stocked to the brim with frozen food and tonnes of juices!

Reminds me of a hotel fridge, only bigger, better and caters a wider selection.

This is the one that looks like a washing machine. Is the boss stocking up for war or something??

This is the view from the balcony, which oversees pretty much the whole of Orchard. Concrete jungle can be beautiful sometimes. We had our lunch on that wooden table.

And the best thing is, I got to knock off at 3+ cos the work is relatively easy :D

Work is becoming a relentless routine

I haven't blogged in ages!

I've been eating good food for lunch daily ever since SIP started. It's only a pathetic hour of break but I'm always famished enough to devour every single morsel of food set before me.

Monday, I ate at Crystal Jade. I ordered beef noodles with ginger and shallot and two dishes of dim sum.

Tuesday, I ate KFC and Sun Moulin.

Wednesday, I ate at Pepperlunch, Sun Moulin and had sushi from the supermarket.

Thursday, I ate nonya dishes at Food Republic.

Friday, I ate Geylang prawn noodles because I was there for external audit. I had Burger King with bf for dinner.

Saturday, I ate an assortment of food at Taka and had gelato for dessert. I ate katong laksa for dinner.

Sunday, I had Teppanyaki.

Yesterday, I ate at Crystal Jade again.

Today, I ate spaghetti at Pasta Mania.

Burps.

As I was saying, I went to a client's place at Geylang on Thursday for field audit. I was there with Cynthia and another permanent staff.

Well, she is damn irritating. That permanent staff, that is. We all hate her. You will too if you are at the office everyday to witness her weirdness and have a taste of her shirking her responsibilities and dumping them on you.

She is just plain weird. And even that, my friend, is an understatement.

She assigned me 3 different sections of working papers that I had to complete within that day itself and one of which is Hire Purchase. That, I have not touched nor seen in my entire life.

It is ok if she gives me really alien work to do, but at least give me a run-through and a briefing first. She did not even deliver that and she expected me to embark on a mission without necessary preparations and the fuzziest notion of a goal in sight.

I asked her to brief me but she just laughed a nauseating high-pitched laugh and said "Oh, I hate to do Hire Purchase so I let you do lor. I don't really know how to do also. Hahaha hehehehe."

Wah. Very funny.

Then nevermind. I did the easier sections first and left HP for last. When I was doing it, I obviously had queries so I asked her. But again and again, she retorted with the same lines, "Oh, I don't know. Ha. Ha." and "You ask me also no use. I'm not the one doing up the accounts. I think you ask the client better."

Cynthia and I were nudging each other in the ribs and exchanging knowing glances thoughout. Every single question posed to her, she shrugged it off with a giggle and an I-don't-know.

Fucking idiotic.

Argh. Don't wanna go on about work. It makes me sad and yearn for weekends all the more.

Workplace and workload is workpeople are fucked up. Enough said.

Ooh its me and the birthday girl. Newyork Newyork was so freakishly packed to the brim with humans and the dumbest thing is they don't allow reservations. But I wanna go back there to try the food. The ambience feels great!

Due to the impossibility of getting a table at Newyork Newyork anytime soon, our growling stomachs gave our bodies a push and we flew all the way to Spagheddies. Guess which spaghetti I had? Hint: I am about the most predictable consumer ever!

This bday cake is lopsided. Therefore, this makes it the coolest bday cake ever! I would love to have a cute lopsided grin so I can smile to my friends who have lopsided brains and they would get me a cute lopsided cake too. But I won't want a lopsided ass. Nono. Nah ah.
