Work is becoming a relentless routine

I haven't blogged in ages!

I've been eating good food for lunch daily ever since SIP started. It's only a pathetic hour of break but I'm always famished enough to devour every single morsel of food set before me.

Monday, I ate at Crystal Jade. I ordered beef noodles with ginger and shallot and two dishes of dim sum.

Tuesday, I ate KFC and Sun Moulin.

Wednesday, I ate at Pepperlunch, Sun Moulin and had sushi from the supermarket.

Thursday, I ate nonya dishes at Food Republic.

Friday, I ate Geylang prawn noodles because I was there for external audit. I had Burger King with bf for dinner.

Saturday, I ate an assortment of food at Taka and had gelato for dessert. I ate katong laksa for dinner.

Sunday, I had Teppanyaki.

Yesterday, I ate at Crystal Jade again.

Today, I ate spaghetti at Pasta Mania.

Burps.

As I was saying, I went to a client's place at Geylang on Thursday for field audit. I was there with Cynthia and another permanent staff.

Well, she is damn irritating. That permanent staff, that is. We all hate her. You will too if you are at the office everyday to witness her weirdness and have a taste of her shirking her responsibilities and dumping them on you.

She is just plain weird. And even that, my friend, is an understatement.

She assigned me 3 different sections of working papers that I had to complete within that day itself and one of which is Hire Purchase. That, I have not touched nor seen in my entire life.

It is ok if she gives me really alien work to do, but at least give me a run-through and a briefing first. She did not even deliver that and she expected me to embark on a mission without necessary preparations and the fuzziest notion of a goal in sight.

I asked her to brief me but she just laughed a nauseating high-pitched laugh and said "Oh, I hate to do Hire Purchase so I let you do lor. I don't really know how to do also. Hahaha hehehehe."

Wah. Very funny.

Then nevermind. I did the easier sections first and left HP for last. When I was doing it, I obviously had queries so I asked her. But again and again, she retorted with the same lines, "Oh, I don't know. Ha. Ha." and "You ask me also no use. I'm not the one doing up the accounts. I think you ask the client better."

Cynthia and I were nudging each other in the ribs and exchanging knowing glances thoughout. Every single question posed to her, she shrugged it off with a giggle and an I-don't-know.

Fucking idiotic.

Argh. Don't wanna go on about work. It makes me sad and yearn for weekends all the more.

Workplace and workload is workpeople are fucked up. Enough said.
