'Weird' English
Isn't "Yay!" spelt as yay instead of yeah? Why do I see so many mispelling that word? 'Yeah' is pronounced as ye-ah, not yay.
Just take this for example:
Waiter: Would you like your steak to be served medium-raw?
Me: Yeah!
It's just so wrong. It's like you're saying "Yay!" instead of "Yea".
See the difference?
---
Also, I see many spelling 'Scared' as 'Scare'.
What. On. Earth.
'Scared' is an adverb whereas 'scare' is a verb. Whenever I read excerpts like this:
"The thunder roared and lightning struck right infront of me. I was so scare..."
they just get on my nerves. I mean, it just sounds totally wrong! This is basic english, shouldn't you already know all the basic fundamentals??
Perhaps such unsightly grammatical, spelling and tense errors occur more frequently amongst singaporean bloggers. Seriously, I've seen too many so I'm pretty convinced by my statement, although I have no solid ground to base it on.

Heh. Nothing much. Off to church now. Toodles!

Not only that! Some people tend to spell "weird" as "wierd" or "receive" as "recieve"! And no matter how i correct them, they don't seem to get it right!
